Overview.
Residential electrification across Southern Europe remains slow, fragmented and economically inefficient. Homeowners face long lead times, opaque pricing and complex financing when installing solar, batteries, heat pumps or EV chargers, and frequently give up. Installers struggle to scale. Subsidy volatility has wiped out less resilient players. The bottleneck is not demand, it is execution. And with energy security rising as a structural priority across Europe, the cost of that bottleneck is only growing.
Eltex owns the full customer journey across the residential electrification stack, working through a network of certified independent installers across Southern Europe. The platform handles lead qualification, pricing, financing, scheduling and project coordination end-to-end. By centralising procurement and shipping hardware directly to installers, Eltex removes inventory complexity while keeping quality control and pricing power in-house. The workflow Eltex runs, structured, data-rich and highly repeatable, is precisely the kind of operation where progressive AI-driven automation can materially improve unit economics without changing the customer relationship.
Why we invested.
Eltex had already reached double-digit revenue bootstrapped, in a market where better-funded competitors failed. By owning the full customer journey rather than selling software to installers, Eltex captures the economics of the work itself. Southern Europe’s residential electrification market is large, fragmented, and structurally underserved. The workflow Eltex runs is precisely the kind where AI progressively takes over the back-office, turning a services business into something that scales like software.
